Our mission is to EDUCATE, EXPOSE and ENDOW opportunities to minority youth who have the talent, passion and skill to excel in non-traditional sports.
The Field of Dreams Academy knows that by providing our youth with organized athletics, they will learn valuable lessons that go beyond the playing field. Since 2005, they have provided and fostered a learning environment for students to excel in amateur sports and academics. Their participants also gain invaluable experience and give back to their community by volunteering their time, and talent.
With Laureus’ support, Field of Dreams Academy aims to create a community where sport can improve the quality of life for everyone in Atlanta’s Westside neighborhoods. Field of Dreams Academy will create a multi-sports league program for youth to enjoy a safe environment while maximizing their individual skills. The league will be framed by a community philosophy that promotes the spirit of good sportsmanship and team work.
