Laureus Youth Leadership Summit

We will empower youth to represent the views of their peers and highlight the role that sport can play in developing leadership skills.

The Laureus Youth Leadership Summit is a conference dedicated to empowering young leaders and strengthening youth-serving programs. During the week of the ESPYs and the ESPN Humanitarian Awards, the Summit will put youth voice at the center of the conversation as we explore the role sport can play in building leaders. We will provide a platform for 100 youth from across the country to connect with leaders and share their insights on how to best design youth-serving programs. Leaders will also inspire youth to create positive change in their communities.

Youth Leadership

The Youth Leadership Summit is for young people, by young people. To help inform the Summit, we have created a national council of high school students from Laureus-supported programs. Leading up to the Summit, the council is meeting regularly to formulate topics and ensure maximum relevance to young people today.
